A very nice 3-speed Dual 1218 turntable. All three speeds work beautifully. The unit has a Stanton 500 Mark II cartridge fitted with a 78rpm stylus. The buyer will need to purchase the appropriate 33/45 microgroove stylus.
This runs smoothly, and quietly and sounds wonderful. It does not come with a plexiglass cover, and the automatic stop needs adjustment. It does automatically lift the tonearm and return it to rest at the end of the record - but does not shut off the motor, which has to be done manually. Rectifying this is not too difficult, but I simply don't have the time!
These Dual turntables are workhorses - I regularly use two, one for 78s and one for microgroove. This one is surplus to my requirements. $400 will make you the owner. It is situated in Oakland, CA.
